Re: The Warlock Speaks for himself

My agent is dealing with the e-book folks, and part of the hold-up is that I want to release only three books at a time, partly to keep a check on audience reaction, partly to make sure I'm happy with their versions. Wild Voices did a really good job with the first one. If all goes well, we may do s...

Re: Starship Troupers 4: The Unknown Guest

Too true, Majikah -- both the advantages of e-books and the loss of paper -- thogh considering what happened to the library of Alexandra, it may be a matter of which loss we'd rather risk -- this from a man whose books threaten to crowd him out of his house. There's something about the feel and scen...

Re: The Witch Doctor

Glad you have a taste for the classics, even though they're mine. I will write the last book in the series some day, but since there's no publisher interest, I'm afraid it will be fairly far down my 'TO WRITE' list. You comments do strengthen my resolve, though.

Re: How I Discovered The Warlock Series

Thanks, wl59. I've just finished the 4th and final STARSHIP TROUPERS. It needs a lot of rewriting, but if it does come out next year, I hope you enjoy it.

Re: Starship Troupers 4: The Unknown Guest

Thank you so much for such detailed criticism, Gwonbush, and for doing it with such a gentle touch! Ortho and I will work on it. Rough draft is done, but as you can see, it's still VERY rough, so it will be a long run yet before we'll declare it done.

Re: Who was Big Tom?

Thanks for the4 ideas, Korg2000. Could be the basis for a new Gramarye story -- sort of spinning off the way Wheedon split Angel's story off from Buffy. Think you could do it as a fan fiction story?

Re: Who was Big Tom?

Hadn't really thought about it, but now that I do, I realize he must be a local taken ahead in time for his education -- he knows the culture too well to be an outsider, and totalitarian theory too well to be home-schooled. Maybe this is where I got the idea for the churls in WIZARD IN BEDLAM. Thank...

Re: Starship Troupers 4: The Unknown Guest

I'm working on what should be the last chapter, Cliff, but there a LOT of revisions needed. Hopefully I'll finish it in June. Reader input will be very much appreciated before I start the final draft. Most of the book is in the archive; just keep pressing the arrow in the lower right-hand corner. Th...

Re: Available as eBook?

Sound thoughts and a fascinating dialogue. This doesn't include the five books I've written that haven't been published, some for good reason -- there was no way I was going to try to rewrite THE DAY OF TAI-PING after I'd read James Clavell's TAI-PAN. I can't afford to live in China for a year. Fort...

Re: How I Discovered The Warlock Series

I'm delighted that you enjoy the books, Breeman. If you run out, we're posting sample chapters of new works on this website -- just click on the arrow at the bottom of the left-hand page. Actually, the chapters may have been rewritten substantially before we put them up for sale on Amazon. My rewrit...
