Re: Wizard Required

More. I want more! Is it a new book, or will it be a series of posts? Will there be a whole story line? Drama? Intrigue? Murder most foul? You seem to be pretty good at this... Are you going to take up the mantle after the good... Ummm... Is CS actually a doctor? Well, whatever. After he retires his...

Re: Possible error in Gwen's esper abilities

Perhaps she was just using the animals as familiars; she was an accomplished telepath, after all.

Re: The Frog and the Grog

I like the story already. One thing in particular I like about your stories is how the characters are all 4-Dimensional. The stories themselves are somewhat formulaic - and I don't mean to imply that that is a bad thing - but it is the characters, their personalities and how they grow over the lengt...

Re: Modernizing old favorites

Not a bad idea - There are a lot of things that can cause that: a broken or blocked cooling passage, a cold solder joint, a bad transistor on the overflow stack in the processor chip... Mr. S's stories don't seem quaint, at all. They are about people and how they interact; the "futuristic"...

Modernizing old favorites

At heart, I am a purist; I like stories to be enjoyed the way the author wrote them, and I will always choose an unabridged version of a good book, if available. I even enjoyed the Canterbury Tales more in their original Middle English than I did in modern, though it took me a long time and more tha...

Re: E-Commerce and making it happen!

I'll stick around. You've been in my personal library for about 20 years now, and if a new book is coming out soon, I want to know about it ;) I am a soldier in the US Army, and have no financial interests in any publishing house, nor do I know any "published authors" (as the term is commo...

I thought it was a pretty good story, with a happy ending.

It's always good to see hard work and intelligent planning rewarded with a great net profit.

Re: Plot Idea for Matthew

I once belonged to a forum of reasonably talented writers who would each write a single chapter of a story and then post it. Two different ways it worked:One way, each took a turn, building on what had happened previously, and the other way, everyone wrote a chapter and then they all voted on the be...
