Re: Back surgery
It went very well indeed. Almost 4 months after the surgery, I'm in no pain at all. Mostly I fill my time hunting and redeeming recyclables (lucrative!) and fixing and using electronics. Lots of demand for that lately. When I'm not doing that, I'm at the airport, either flying or working on aircraft...

Re: Why is Magnus a giant?
I can attest to size being a liability. I am abnormally tall (five-foot-seventeen, I tell people,) and would gladly trade a few inches. What you offer for trade is irrelevant. I'd just like to fit in normal-sized cars, airplane seats, clothing... And forget hiding in a crowd. Any ceremonial formatio...

Re: Genesis 3... point 5
Just read it. Sorry it took so long to get to it. Busy days... Interesting read. I liked it. I have no idea what else to say about it, at the moment, except maybe that it seemed well written, polished, no obvious errors. The link at the bottom didn't open the forum. It opened an unframed page of the...

Re: Mission of Mercy
I suppose one of the problems with Dr. S being a good author is that the fans expect that he knows it. That being the case, it seems at least redundant, and at worst, like a stalker, to jump on and start heaping praise on a piece. Nonetheless, I will risk it ;) It was a good piece. The story was cle...

Re: Firewalker
It's an interesting story. Particularly since I've hiked the area around Kilauea. (Can't get into the crater. They have it pretty effectively fenced-off.)

Neat!
Only one grammatical error that I saw:
then frowned at something moving in the forest behind.
ended a sentence with a preposition.

Interesting. Can't wait to see where this one goes.
Didn't see any typos, and nothing really jumped out at me, grammatically. Good work, to both the author and the proofer!

Re: The Boozy Banshee of Brannock-A-Bend
Only one typo I could find:
Not sure what to do with the following.
By ten in the morning the tourists, half sporting pretty good hangovers and the other half still smashed, would been launched on a massive banshee hunt.
Always good to have a happy ending. Great story, and well told.
