I just discovered your website this morning, and was delighted to see that you're still actively writing. Like yourself, I attended the University of Nebraska and was a student of a friend and colleague of yours by the name of Richard Boohar. He introduced me to your works in the late 70's, and I've been a loyal fan ever since. I was particularly thrilled to find the serialization of the fourth Starship Troupers novel on the site, as this series has always been one of my favorites and I had given up all hope of seeing the storyline resolved. Thank you for many, many hours of enjoyment over the years.

Thank you very much for the kind words, Mr. Rogner. We were both fortunate to know Dick. He was a mentor as well as a friend, and I miss him sorely. There's some solace in knowing that he had a draft of my latest novel, The Frog and the Grog, to entertain him during those last days. His sense of humor and his empathy shows in many of my books.
