I was sorry to hear about what has happened to your parents. I hope they both get better and for what it is worth you and they are in my prayers.

I'm sorry to hear about both your parents. I just decided to re-read the wizard in rhyme series. It was one of the first book that got me to love reading. Your dad's book mean a lot me and I hope that things get better.

I figured it was something like that. I'm sorry to hear it.
My father is getting old, but mentally, he's in relatively good shape, thankfully. His body is starting to break down, but he manages. For how long is anybody's guess.
What really sucks is that his wife's alzheimer's is progressing rapidly. It's so hard to watch, especially with the knowledge that there's absolutely nothing any of us can do to make it better.
My mom died of pancreatic cancer over 10 years ago, and that was just as bad.
So you have my sympathy. Watching your parents get old is the worst.
