King Kobold

Post by Tanrage »

when I was was much younger I was lucky enough to find a copy of the original unrevised King Kobold at a garage sale. Sadly a flood destroyed much of my basement library years later and though I was able to replace most of the books eventually that one seems forever lost to me. I know that you came to dislike it eventually (thus the highly changed reisssue) but would you ever consider doing a ebook reissue of then original?

I'm afraid Chris does not intend to release the original King Kobold as an ebook (for the exact reasons you guessed). The good news, however, is that you can pick up a copy of the original King Kobold relatively cheaply at Amazon. Here's the link: http://tinyurl.com/King-Kobold-original

Thanks and happy hunting!

I am lucky enough to still have an original copy the one with the dark cover. It was in fact my first introduction to Gramarye and I just was hooked from the very beginning. I recently bought the revised version and actually have to say I was a little disappointed. I quite liked the whole time paradox thing and felt the immortal lines. "You will do what I say" "Why?" "Because you're only a Major but I am a Colonel" the whole ending jarred with me somewhat because characters were missing and well it was just different.

I guess some memories you just cannot erase and I am glad I have my old paper back version just a pity no one warned me how revised the revised version was ;)
