I suppose one of the problems with Dr. S being a good author is that the fans expect that he knows it. That being the case, it seems at least redundant, and at worst, like a stalker, to jump on and start heaping praise on a piece.
Nonetheless, I will risk it
It was a good piece. The story was clear and concise, the premise plausible, not too wordy, but not so terse as to sacrifice detail...
No obvious typos, grammar problems, well-ordered... Writing and proofing well done.
Short stories don't allow much space for great character development, but the Good Doctor uses it pretty well.
Keep up the good work.
